Halloween Party Food

This is the weekend for Halloween parties!  Every year I vow to throw a party for my son and his friends and every year, I run out of motivation and time.  Maybe next year.  Maybe.

While searching for fun foods to serve at this party I’m not having, I found a few I would love to try.

I am fascinated with these.  I’d love to try them and I may just for a fun dinner Sunday or Monday.  These are from my friend Amy at The Idea Room.  I first featured Amy way back when and she also did a Fab 5 for me.  I met her for the first time last April.  We’ve seen each other a few times since and I never get tired of hanging with her.

Blood Worms.

Her recipe on how she makes these is pretty cool.

Mummy Dogs

I actually DID make these one year. And I’ll probably make them again! So easy and who doesn’t love a wiener wrap? I found these from Best Bites.  I featured them a long time ago too.  They have exploded with success and now have a fabulous cook book. They have a lots more Halloween ideas if you’re looking.

Flesh Worm Dinner

This is SO gross!  I found this on I make Projects.  They also have lots of other ideas.  Gross ideas.

Blood Clot Desserts-

I’m not even sure I could eat these.  I found these on Not Quite Nigella

Candy Corn Slushies

To wash it all down, I wouldn’t have any problem drinking these.  I think it’s best if I stick with the non gruesome menu.

Liz with Pocket Change Gourmet (she also has a site that I featured) made up these tasty looking slush drinks.  Mmmm.  Liz always has some great ideas.  I was happy to have met her last July at EVO.  Hopefully the next time I meet her, we’ll have more time to chat.

If you are having a party, don’t forget about the wonderful labels I have for you.  They’re free and so so cool!  You can download these Halloween bottle labels here.

Well you now have everything you need to throw yourself a party!

TCB will have it’s Creative Holiday Gift Guide again this year.  It’s always nice to find original or hard to find items……….mostly handmade for those holiday gifts.  I think it’s a great way to support crafty girls and moms.  The stuff is always way better!  So if you or someone you know has an Etsy shop or online boutique, you have GOT to get in the Creative Holiday Gift guide.  This is a great way to gain some exposure for your business.  This is a great way for us to go shopping!!!

I couldn’t do the Clot Cocktails either (it’s all in the name…call it anything but BC & P!) but I did check out Not Quite Nigella’s site and it’s screamingly cool…fantastic Halloween spread!
