Creative Craft Ideas for Spring

There is still time to decorate or craft a little for St. Patricks Day! Like these blarney stone rolls from Skip to my Lou. These spring time holidays don’t get as much attention, but they do get us excited for Spring Crafts.  I’ll be honest, I don’t decorate for St. Paddy’s day, but the leprechaun does visit.  I do however get my house ready for spring with other decorating ideas.

Spring Projects

Kristyn has a happy happy blog, Lil Luna. She is cute as a button with so many great ideas for crafting, simple ways to decorate for holidays and yummy recipes. She has lots of spring projects to get you ready.  Her St. Patricks Day pot of gold cake pops are genius! And of course I am loving her spring shamrock banner!  The map background is right up my alley.

Spring time decoratingSpring time decorating always requires me to spruce up the door or flower pots on the front porch.  Kristen’s Wreath is adorable.  I love her idea of adding the monogram and ribbon to an otherwise simple “everyone has one” wreath.  You don’t always have to reinvent the wheel, sometimes it just needs a little push.

Spring Arts & Crafts

Speaking of reinventing.  If you’re updating the kitchen this spring, don’t throw out those old cabinet doors!  She used vinyl and made a version of the popular subway signs.  Perfect for the kitchen and I must say, I LOVE THAT QUOTE.  :)

Did someone say dessert?  This recipe may not be very spring like, but I couldn’t resist.  Looks SO yummy!  Why can’t I have the metabolism of a 20 yr old? Spring time treat snickerdoodle bread

I met Kristyn last April and she’s another one of those “crafty gals”.  (Once again, I thought I had already featured her……maybe I did??)

Sweet, cute and full of talent.  Head on over and leave her a comment.  Otherwise she’ll never know it’s the “best day of her life”.
