Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl, and I’m flattered to be here posting while Kim is busy with summer travel. After all, it seems like just yesterday when I experienced the best “blogging” day of my life. Excitement is an understatement, I felt like I was on top of the world! After all, Kim had noticed ME! Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Kim, meet her in person and now call her one of my good friends! Kim is the kind of friend who will have your back, offer support, lift me up when I’m down, listen when I need to whine, and is always willing to share and brainstorm with me!
If you don’t know me, I blog in my little space on the internet at TidyMom.net, trying to make life easy for moms. I’m a self-proclaimed neat freak, who chronicles her journey through homemaking with recipes, tutorials, crafting, household tips and reviews all while sleeping with a loaded Nikon. I’m a wife and mom with a teenager at home and a 20-something making her way into adulthood. So there’s always something fun and exciting going on while I clean up the trail blazed behind me!
Kim asked me to share 5 of my favorite projects, so here we go…………
We’ve had a hot hot summer here in Missouri, and this Banana Pineapple Italian Ice is a refreshing treat with no added sugar! So simple to make you’ll have no excuse NOT to make them!
You know those popcorn tins you get at Christmas that seem like they will last forever……well, when forever is over you can wash them out, paint them and decorate with some vinyl and fill with your dog or cat food! You will have your own custom Designer Pet Food Canister.
Scarves are the hot accessory trend right now! And anyone who knows me, knows I’m a huge scarf lover! I must own at least 20 scarves and I wear them with almost everything all year long. Come see how I made a fun scarf using an old t-shirt.
Now you can have your ice cream and cake in one little cup! I made these Black Raspberry and Lemon Crush Cupcakes, but this technique will work for any flavor combination of ice cream cupcakes you can dream up!
How about a recipe and craft all rolled into one? Food gifts are always a favorite of mine and Cinnamon Honey Butter jars make a pretty gift when you add a little bling to the jars, and pair with homemade bread, pound cake, biscuit mix or even bagels!
Thanks so much for having me Kim! I hope you stop by TidyMom.net some time and say hello!! I host a weekly party, on Thursday evenings where bloggers can share anything they are loving (recipes, products, crafts, your family…anything) I would love for you to come by and link up and/or browse thru all the links at I’m Lovin’ It.
A winner has been announced for the Cameo Silhouette. Thank you all who entered! I wish I could give one away to each one of you! I truly believe everyone should own one! This promo goes til the 16th!
