Trompe {Grandfather Clock}

Trompe L’oeil

Sifting through my Get Your Craft On entries, I found this project for a Trompe L’oeil Grandfather clock.  Genius!   Don’t you feel fancy when you say Trompe L’oeil?  Go ahead…….say it again.

Trompe L’oeil.  I’m not even sure I’m saying it right, but I rolled my R if that helps.  I do however know what it means.  It means to deceive the eye.  So although it LOOKS like a grandfather clock, it’s really not.

I love it!  Cottage Hill has got some mad skills.

Sewing Table Cabinet

She also made herself a pretty cool sewing cabinet. She decided to make a table that would fold up and fit inside this cabinet.  Jealous yet?

Bee Paint by Number Pillow

Not only can this girl sew……but she also shows off how talented she is with paint.  We saw a bit of her talented painting with the Trompe L’oeil clock……but this Bee Paint by Number pillow is so cute.  She even gives you a tutorial.  She has an Etsy Shop with more of her wonderful paintings.

Distressed Step Stool

Taking her painting skills to an old step stool passed down through the family.  Love how it looks on her kitchen counter……you will too.

Church Message Board

You’ll never look at those old discarded items the same.  You gotta stretch your mind…..Her friend brought her this old church memo message board.  She painted it, distressed it and made it a message board with little boy sayings. Her friend loved it.  Wouldn’t this be cute to post family messages too?

Now off you go to do what all great TCB readers do……..head over and leave her a comment letting her know how you found her.  It makes ME look good and it makes her feel good.  It’s good karma for you. It’s a Win, Win, Win situation.

Wait!  Before you go.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to enter to win a necklace from Allora Handmade.

I still have a few spots available for the Creative Girls Valentine Gift Guide.
