Using What You Have!

This girl is after my own heart.  I love using what I have and finding new uses for items.  Going shopping in your own home and trying things out in a different room can save you a ton of money AND give you a fresh look.

Amy shares her home with us, showing us each room and how’s she’s decorated or how she’s coming along. So many inspiring ideas!  You just might find some ideas for that one room you’ve been struggling with.

New Uses for Old Items

Using vintage metal medical trays for decorating is SO COOL!  She combined some old flash cards and domino’s to had some personal style.  So cute.  She talks about how she hung these babies too.  I think you’ll be impressed.

One of her favorite items to use are vintage signs.   Now that’s character!

Here’s her master bedroom below……..which is gorgeous and so peaceful……..but notice the vintage sign here too.    She’s got such great style thats it’s no surprise that she’s been in a few magazines.  Can you imagine?  How exciting to have your home featured in a magazine!

This studio photo kind of had me a bit depressed.  Sigh.  I want mine to look just like that. creative studio spacepainted furniture vintage seatingPlenty of diy projects that will keep you entertained for a long time.  Hopefully it won’t depress you.  :)

Check out Whisper Wood Cottage. You’ll love her kitchen!

One thing that did confuse me about her site………she didn’t have TCB listed on her side bar in the blog roll…….gasp!  Nor did she have GET YOUR CRAFT ON listed for the linky parties…..DOUBLE GASP!  :)  Good thing I don’t judge my features on that huh?

More stuff I go on and on about….
