I’m starting to add touches of autumn around the house. A pumpkin here, some mums there. You can’t go wrong when you start out with those! I’ve gathered 20 DIY Fall Decor Ideas to help you get started and will carry you through the Thanksgiving holiday.

I’m not one of those people that decorates super early for any season. I just feel ridiculous with a fall wreath up and school hasn’t even started. But if my neighbor does, that’s fine. Someone needs to take the lead, right?

I always start out with easy ways to bring fall to my home. This year, I bought a few small gourds to put in a bowl on the dining room table, some Indian corn for a wooden bowl I have and of course a variety of mums for the porch. I’m planning on making a wreath with the Indian corn, so be on the look out!

For Halloween, I’ll just add to what I’ve already started with a few decorative mice, crows and maybe a skull here and there.
