This past August, I talked about creating a “teen space” that could accommodate my son and his friends in a functional, yet stylish way.
I was thrilled to work along with Sauder to find the perfect piece of furniture to meet my needs.
Creating Space for Holiday Guests
My son has a few friends over once a month or so for a Monopoly shake down, so having furniture that can withstand teen boys and also serve different functions is high on my list. I don’t want to worry about something getting dirty or ruined.
This Cooper convertible sofa from Sauder has been so great! It’s light enough to be moved around if they want to pull it closer to the TV for video games, and it’s easy to convert to a bed.
The surface is easily cleaned with a damp cloth and shows no wear or tear.
With the holidays coming, I’ll be using this as an extra space to put all the kids.
It’s nice to be able to make up a bed quickly and then have it back to a nice seating area for the day. It’s also great, that they can manage to convert it on their own.
The matching small storage ottoman, is also a great way to store extra bedding.
For just over $200, this piece of furniture has been a real bargain.
