Getting our yard ready for spring and summer is a chore! Living in the NW means a lot of moss, weeds and things growing where you don’t want them.
We’re also re-landscaping our front beds, which is tricky since we have to work around these large green discs that everyone in my city has in the front of their house.
Something to do with the waste water……I don’t need to know anymore.
We need to prep the beds so weeds and unwanted grass don’t grow, and what perfect timing since I’ve been asked to work with Spectracide and they’re going to help us tackle this project using their Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer.
This is the stuff you want to use for those areas where grass or weeds are growing in your sidewalk cracks or a pebble walkway.
We have an area in front of our house and along our boxwood shrubs that has a rock bed. Do you know how tedious it is to keep it grass free?
It’s a constant battle, as you can see we have our work cut out for us. The weather is just starting to warm up enough to get started on this project, we even have one grass cutting under our belt so far!
This is the time to get your yard and garden beds prepped.
I’m also looking into their other products in addition to their weed & grass killer. I’m particularly interested in their Pruning Seal since we have several dwarf fruit trees in the back. I’m learning you can also use it to seal clay pots, wooden planters, gutters and even small sections of an asphalt drive way…….if you have one. I like products that are useful for other purposes.
