Who loves simple and inexpensive Table Centerpiece Ideas?
I think it’s become my signature to decorate my table with simple and easy ideas. My Easter Colored Rice Mason Jars or my 5 Minute Cranberry Christmas Luminaires prove that creating a table centerpiece doesn’t have to be fussy or hard.
Remember those DIY Distressed Gold Leaf Terracotta Pots I shared last week? I’ll be using those for this 10-minute home decorating idea, but don’t worry if you didn’t make them. You can use any vase (that’s not see thru), or flower pots or baskets.
Table Centerpiece Ideas – Simple & Inexpensive
Adding a few hints of spring decorating for your home decor doesn’t have to be hard. I’m joining forces with a few Home DIY Bloggers, and we’re all sharing simple & easy 10 minute ideas for decorating for Spring or Easter. You’ll get several decorating ideas! Last month I shared free printable botanical art to be used so many ways.
I’m going to show you how to throw together my cutest Table Centerpiece Ideas for spring, using items I already had around the house. Similar to this summer table centerpiece with found garden items. So simple!
DIY Table Centerpiece Ideas Supplies
- Pots or vases that aren’t see thru, or one long basket.
- Artificial Greenery and Flowers – I used leftovers from other projects. I had left over daisies from my DIY Daisy Wreath. A leaf here, a flower there. You’d be surprised how well they may blend together.
- Wire Cutters
- Trim the greenery. Some of my leaves just pulled right off, so I didn’t have to cut them. I trimmed all other items to whatever length I needed. If you have florist foam, you could use a little if you wanted, but I didn’t.
- I placed the bushiest stems in first, then the large leafs, then the daisies. I kept filling until I had the desired look.
That’s it! Each one has a little different look.
I like using odd numbers for decorating and that’s why I chose 3 smaller pots. Decorating in 1, 3s, or 5s, create a much more balanced look, it’s more pleasing to the eye. Sounds odd, but that’s how it works.
If you want the exact look that I’ve got, you could make the DIY pots in about 15 minutes. I’ve got all the supplies and directions on how to created aged terracotta pots with gold leaf here.
That table runner with the little poms…. it’s so cute, isn’t it? I picked it up at Home Goods.
Now you’ve created a simple and inexpensive springtime centerpiece that you can use all season or for Easter. You could add an Easter egg or a faux bird’s egg to each one if you’re looking for more Easy Table Centerpiece Ideas!
