1. Open and drain your cans of chickpeas. Spread them out on paper towels and pat dry. 2. Once they are pretty dry, place all the chickpeas into a large gallon-size ziplock bag with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil.
Spread out on a parchment lined baking sheet and season with your favorite seasonings.
I added a bit of garlic powder too. Then mix your beans around so they are more evenly coated.
After seasoning the way you'd like, bake at 400°F. for 25-30 min. Check every 10 min or so and move them around so they evenly bake. They are best right after baking. You can store them in an airtight container, but they may not seem as crunchy.
Making chickpeas in an air fryer is a great way to ensure they will be crunchy! It is recommended to air fry for 5-6 min at 390˚
Chickpeas are low in saturated Fat and very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein and Copper, and a very good source of Folate and Manganese. They are also high in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
