You'll need the following items to make slow cooker homemade applesauce:
6 quart Slow Cooker
10-12 medium sized Apples - cored, peeled and cut into chunks
Brown Sugar & Cinnamon
Lemon Juice
Immersion Blender - a fork can also be used.
Peel, core & cut up apples
Place in the crockpot
Sprinkle lemon juice over the apples and stir
Cook on Low for 6-8 hrs
Mash with fork or use an immersion blender to reach the consistency desired.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon sticks
Add ground cinnamon if needed.
Store in an airtight container. REFRIGERATOR - 1 week FREEZER - 6 months
