HGTV Dream Home Before & After

Have you seen the HGTV Dream Home? This dream home is located in Gig Harbor Washington, about 2.5 hours away from where I live. I’ve been to Gig Harbor many times because one of my best friends lives there, so I knew it was going to be gorgeous! That whole area is just one fantastic view after another!

I’ll be sharing a few before and after photos as well as many photos I took throughout my visit. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have watched my Live home tour or many of the stories I shared. There are LOTS of photos, so grab a drink, find a cozy spot to sit back and savor.

I’ve also added a couple of videos because photos just don’t do this dream home justice!

Working with HGTV was a dream come true in itself.

Meeting many of the staff, as well as the HGTV Dream Home Designer Brian Patrick Flynn was one of the best parts! Being around so many talented people all in one place was so inspiring!

This home is right on the water with the most spectacular view. It was a great choice to remodel and will make some lucky winner very happy! 

Can you imagine having this view every morning? Although I must warn you, it’s not always going to be sunny. This is Washington mind you. But even the mistiest day is still gorgeous!

HGTV Dream Home Inside

When you first walk in, you are of course met with the amazing view of the Puget Sound. Everything was decorated so perfectly, all in a way to bring the soothing outdoors inside. Many of the items came from Wayfair.

To make this event even more fun, I got to spend time with a few other home bloggers who love decorating as much as I do!

I think my favorite rooms were the ones with Original artwork by Celery Jones. The Washington Wall and the Chinook Bait & Tackle Wall are so perfect for this region. Very Pacific Northwest.

Just being able to roam from room to room was a dream come true!
