Painted Wicker Charger Plates
Hello, it’s Amy from Delineate Your Dwelling, a creative DIY blog. I’m here today to share one of my favorite Summer projects with you, my Painted Charger Plates! There is something about summer that makes me want to entertain outdoors non stop and I love that these are a simple way to add color and interest to your gathering.
Supplies Needed: Affiliate links provided.
- Wicker Paper Plate Holders – Charger Plates (mine are from Goodwill for $2.99 for a set)
- Acrylic Paint in your favorite colors
- Paint Brush
Easy craft projects are the best!
Originally I was going to tape off patterns but decided I wanted a more casual look. So, I came up with a few fun bohemian styled patterns and using 5 or 6 colorful paints, got to painting!
To ensure you see the fun patterns you painted, simply use clear plastic plates so all the fun colors show up from the charger plates underneath.
Thanks for having me today, Kim!

Oh my -I have not seen those paper plate holders since I was a kid. We lived with those for nearly every meal. Great way to spruce them up!! Very cool!
