How to Decorate with Printable Botanical Art
Decorating with printable botanicals makes seasonal decor easy and inexpensive. All you need is to download your image, decide what you want to make and how you need to print it.
DIY Botanical Wall Art
I like printing in a large poster size from Staples using the heavy poster paper option. Hanging is easy when you use a magnetic frame or grab a regular frame. Try using a floating frame for an 8×10 inch print. I’ve also printed smaller sizes at home just placed on a clipboard like this fall printable below.
Decorative Pillows
I have created many custom designs for my home over the years. That makes seasonal decor really easy and budget-friendly. You can print this pumpkin botanical on iron-on transfer paper for quick fall pillows. See how I made these Autumn gourd pillows a couple of years ago.
Dish Towels
One spring I made a pillow cover and a matching dish towel with a gorgeous botanical peony. It cost next to nothing and brightened up my home quickly!
As you can see, there are endless ways to use printable botanicals for decorating. I think botanicals are classic and always on-trend. Most of my printables are free and can be found in the Printable Vault.
I found my metal and wood tiered tray at a local home store, but here’s one very similar.
I decided to use it on our kitchen bar area to keep fruit and daily items like napkins, salt, pepper and sugar shakers. This will be easy to swap out as well.
I am all about functional home decor. There is nothing that drives me crazier than when I see a styled room with ideas that make absolutely no sense.
I hope you’ll make your own botanical wall art and when you do, I’d love to see a photo! Just tag me on Facebook or Instagram!
